"LOBO: The highlight at photokina '94".

The Aalen-based company LOBO electronic presented itself under the motto "Media World" at this year's photokina in Cologne, the world's largest trade fair for image, sound and professional media.

Although it is becoming increasingly difficult to arrange different media into a fascinating spectacle, the company spared no effort: laser graphics, successful 2D and 3D laser animations and slide projections on three screens astounded the recipients, as did a large-screen video projection using the new light valve technology.

The concept for the world trade fair was clear and unambiguous - the medium of laser and its diverse application possibilities were to be presented to a broad public. On a stand area of approx. 1400 square meters. LOBO electronic presented high-end equipment in conjunction with various partners from the media industry, embedded in a multimedia show.

At the largest stand in the Professional Media area, this acted like a crowd puller: between 500 and 1,000 visitors came every hour and were fascinated by the almost 15-minute show. The show, which was conceived without any consistent dramaturgy or story, showed the application and application areas of the laser medium as an individual means of presentation, but also in connection with other media, in a successful mixture of information and entertainment. Brisk animation sequences, consisting of pure laser graphics in true color, presented the various equipment in combination with video and slide sequences and a specially created soundtrack.

The water screen developed by LOBO electronic was particularly fascinating: With this innovative projection surface, which is based on the medium of water, the laser company from Aalen offers a new alternative in event technology. The water screen system is based on modular water distribution segments and can be used for the projection of slides, lasers and video recordings - as an indoor or outdoor version, depending on the task at hand.

With the ECONOMY LINE, a revolutionary laser show playback system was presented, which forms a synthesis of the latest laser technology, the simplest handling, the highest quality standard and the best possible price/performance ratio. Another highlight at the booth was the laser truck, from which the multimedia presentations were completely controlled. The Laser Truck, which was used for the first time in 1991, is based on two 16-ton standard containers. Equipped with the latest technology, the fully air-conditioned laser trucks represent a mobile large laser system with an integrated control station. With this idea of mobile use for large events, LOBO electronic is setting milestones in the service sector. Multivisional events can thus be realized reliably and quickly worldwide.

High-quality technology in harmony with convincing presentations are not just buzzwords for LOBO electronic. Combined with a new media mix, engineers and designers develop customer-specific applications and set new standards: photokina was impressive proof of this.
