Laser Sparks at LOBO's

Not only the sophisticated show production "Mysteria", but also a new modular solution for professional display lasers raised a lot of attention at LOBO's booth in Frankfurt

Since the Musikmesse Frankfurt dedicated the „prolight + sound“ to professional entertainment technology, LOBO became a central attraction as its industry’s largest exhibitor thanks to amazing shows and innovative technology.

This year, „Mysteria“, a multimedia spectacular of the superlatives was the central highlight at the LOBO booth. Mysteria is a co-production of LOBO and the Calren studios, implemented in association with the German Europa Park where the show premiered in October of last year.

But professionals quickly found the real star at the LOBO booth amongst its exhibits:

„sparks“ is the name of the new modular system consisting of compact and uncompromisingly practically oriented high-performance lasers. Modules of different color and different output power can be configured flexibly to any given application. At any time such a system can be re-configured or expanded.

Up to three sparks lasers can be connected at the newly developed LMX-3 Laser Array Manager. This progressive unit, which is also easy to operate, offers for every laser an individually parameterisable power supply, cooling management, an optimized color modulation, safety interlocks as well as status monitoring and remote configuration via DDL-2. Ugly color faults, unbalanced brightness control, unattractive color striae or the early death of a laser due to a poor power and temperature monitoring are a thing of the past.

LOBO’s new sparks series is targeted especially towards demanding mobile applications or outdoor shows with extraordinary power demands. So far, those applications could just be covered by water-cooled gas-ion lasers, monochrome lasers or adjustment-intense diode lasers providing unsatisfying beam parameters.

In contrast to those established solutions, the robust sparks modules are quite affordable, compact, air-coooled, designed for continuous duty under temperatures above 40°C, provide convincing beam parameters and – perhaps the most important advantage – they are completely adjustment-free. Sparks modules will be available in yellow, green, blue and red in power classes ranging between 4 W to 14 W each.

With this groundbreaking approach, LOBO is the first manufacturer fulfilling the most desirable dream of a whole industry: Reliable, powerful and customizable whitelight lasers without lame compromises.
