"Let There Be Light"
It was a sea of swirling reds, blues and greens in a dark, smoky room. This was not a nightclub, but a laser show presented by German laser specialist Lobo at the Pro Audio Light Asia (Pala) '97 show which opened at the World Trade Centre on Monday.
Singapore artiste Joan Martin performed at the show's opening ceremony, which was attended by Mr Stephen Lee, chairman of the Singapore Trade Development Board, and other guests. The display of the wizardry behind laser shows like this one ends today.
Pala '97 is open only to trade visitors, but the public can visit the Music Asia '97 show next door. The latest models of musical instruments and amplifiers will be on display.
