PALA - Hong Kong
At PALA (Professional Audio & Light Asia), which had already been held in Singapore for years, the organizers decided from 2000 onwards to have it held in other Asian countries as well, alternating with Singapore, in order to get closer to the respective markets. Thus, for the first time, the fair was held in the chic Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. 300 exhibitors from 25 countries participated. LOBO was as traditionally also this time the official "Laser Showcase" with a fancy technology design by the projection into a planetarium-like hemisphere.
