New Grating Box

Grating Box GTB-5 is the name of this new marvel, consisting of an opto-mechanical unit GTB-5M and the associated electronic GTB-5E. With the system, it is possible to swivel 10 different holographic grates into the beam bath of a laser system, generating fantastical spatial scattering and diffraction effects.

The highlight: The grates are frameless and do not generate any shadows during swiveling, while also being continuously rotatable to the left or right in swiveled state thanks to a double engine system.

With the access time for the swiveling procedure being below 0.8 s, an exact application in a fully pre-programmed laser show is made possible. The decisive difference to other optical bank effects already available on the market is that the Grating Box can also be used in conjunction with a graphic scanning unit.

With this, not only individual laser beams are diffracted, but rather entire graphics – an unrivalled diversity of effects. The flexibly designed electronics are housed in a 19” housing with 2 height units, allowing for control not only with LOBO devices, but with almost all light controllers available on the market. Hence, the Grating Box GTB-5 is an interesting accessory for any owner of a laser system.
