2017 Brings More ILDA Awards for LOBO
At the ILDA Awards 2017, no other German company received more awards than LOBO.
With the awards presented in Bratislava for the categories "Beam Show" and "Laser Photography", LOBO is still leading the all-time ranking of total amount of ILDA Awards received by all laser show providers worldwide.
With a competition of 181 contest entries, LOBO managed to prevail: In the category "Beams/Atmospherics Show for a Single X-Y Scanner Pair" – which is especially important for laser shows – LOBO's show "J.A.B.S" by Show Designer Philipp Wendt scooped first place. With an extremely high amount of precision he crafted the impression of lasers that don't simply interpret the music, but actually "play" them. You see what you hear – in a perfectly synchronized fusion.
In the category "Beams/Atmospherics Show for Multiple Scanner Projectors", LOBO was awarded with an excellent third place for the show "The Mamba" by Show Designer Roman Schütz. In this show, which is based on a remix by Nancy Sinatra's world-famous song "Bang Bang", ten laser projectors created an impressive spectacle between the lighting choreography and Nancy's vocals.
An additional second place award was given to LOBO in the category "Laser Photography" with the photo titled "Trinity", a laser light sculpture created and photographed by LOBO's Creative Director Udo Gauss.
