In 1998, LOBO had already created a unique multimedia attraction, moving the audience between 6 different scenic sets thanks to a revolving auditorium. After 12 years of successful operation including 3 program changes, a completely new multimedia ride has been designed exactly at the same place. Almost nothing was left untouched. Today, a LACON-5 system controls 9 laser projectors, 28 digital video projections with a total of more than 160,000 lumen, holographic projections, lights, sound, special effects, as well as numerous screen systems, water effects, stage lifts and the drive for the guest cabins. A worldwide unique attraction!
The HISTORAMA in Europa-Park is a newly designed multimedia attraction in which 3 spectator booths can be shot in a total of 6 scenes. The attraction is dedicated to the more than 250-year history of Europa-Park and presents a variety of interesting facts and curiosities from the history of the park in an entertaining way. A total of 27 digital video projections with a total light output of over 160,000 lumens generate images and 180° panoramas that put the viewer at the center of the action. 12 of these video projections move through the scenes together with the viewers. No fewer than 9 laser projectors create spatial beam effects and sophisticated 3D projections. A laser projector is mounted on the arm of an industrial robot; two more are fully articulated. Particular highlights are 3D projections with laser and video floating freely in space, a novel holoflow fog projection surface and a writing waterfall. Lovingly designed scenery and numerous special effects, including wind, fog, water and light effects as well as three stage lifts, water fountains and a water screen complete the spectacle. A surround system specially developed for the spatial geometry of the auditorium ensures rich, spatial sound. The entire system is controlled by a LACON-5 real-time workstation, which allows easy programming and maintenance of the attraction via a laptop.
