"LOBO ELECTRONIC GMBH: At the Re-Opening of the Experimenta".

[Translate to English:]

At the end of March 2019, Germany’s largest science center was opened in Heilbronn with an official ceremony attended by Winfried Krestchmann, the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg. More than 300 selected guests were in attendance at the opening event hosted by TV and radio presenter Günther Jauch. It was followed by a full-dome and stage show in the Science Dome – the world’s first combination of planetarium and science theater – produced specifically for this occasion. In his speech, Winfried Kretschmann described the new Science Center as a “top class palace of science”. To him, a former biology and chemistry teacher, it seemed like the “gates to paradise”, a lucky strike for Heilbronn and the entire federal state, which depended on research and development like no other European region and invested a lot into it. On the occasion of the two-day opening ceremony, attended, among others, by charity founder Dieter Schwarz, entrepreneur Reinhold Würth, SAP founding member Dietmar Hopp, selected guests and employees, LOBO electronic brought the experimenta to life for the first time. Live images, media content and animations were projected onto three video screens. The opening countdown and virtual fireworks were accompanied by impressive light and special effects.
The new experimenta Heilbronn claims to be Germany’s largest science center. Following a planning and construction period of about four years, the science palace with an exhibition space of about 25,000 m² was opened on 31 March 2019. With more than 270 interactive exhibits on five floors, the organizers want to attract young and old alike to the museum. A science and multimedia theater is located in the Science Dome. Here, a TriDome laser system developed by LOBO electronic is permanently installed to project onto the 360° theater. In addition to a 10 meter wide Water Screen with more than 5,000 nozzles, 6 laser projectors are installed in the Science Dome. They are supplied by a powerful Powerdeck, in which the laser beams are generated, bundled and sent to the projectors via fiber optics.
