ILDA decorates Lothar Bopp with its highest award
The President of LOBO receives the highest award of the ILDA for his achievement in the laser show area. And also LOBO‘s design team breaks all records during the ILDA Awards Ceremony.
Since 1994, LOBO has been a member of the US-based umbrella organization of the laser show industry, the so-called “International Laser Display Association” and breaks all records at the ILDA Awards, which is the most important sign of excellence in the laser and multimedia industry and often equated with the “Laser Show Oscar”.
LOBO is an exception in this branch, as this company does not only focus primarily on the development and manufacturing of products or on the rental and show production business, but with most success it satisfies both markets. A concept which develops synergies, resulting in unique products of highest professional standards and extraordinary shows of international reputation.
This year, LOBO’s Managing Director receives an honor which others often only received at the end of their professional career. The bestowal of the Career Achievement Award is the highest honor of ILDA for individuals.
Before his academic studies, Bopp founded the company in 1982. With numerous innovations and prudent strategic decisions he managed to make his company a global player in laser display market within very short time. LOBO offered the first real color laser systems, the first real-time controllers and many further developments, which to date make a clear difference to the competition in many relevant areas. Bopp’s latest coup is the “sparks®” series, probably the brightest show laser projector series on the planet; ideal for especially demanding projects.
But beyond the technical achievements, LOBO always knew how to apply its state-of-the-art technical developments in a creative way.
So, these days LOBO could set a new record in the course of the solemn “Award’s Ceremony” on board the cruise ship “Carnival Destiny” in the Caribbean. With a total of 13 ILDA Awards, including 7 First Prizes”, LOBO’s Creative Director Alexander Hennig not only received for the 14th time in a row more ILDA Awards for outstanding artistic achievements than any other company, but also more Awards than ever before.
With a total of 125 ILDA Awards, LOBO heads with a great distance the ranking list of all Awards ever handed it out byILDA. The most awarded European company after LOBO, e.g. received almost 100 Awards less.
