"Lobo Receives 150th Laser Award"
Company from Aalen receives award in Las Vegas and breaks a record
AALEN (an) - In the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas, Alexander Hennig, Creative Director of the company Lobo from Aalen, accepted the 150th ILDA Award for outstanding creative achievements during the annual conference of the International Laser Display Association (ILDA).
According to independent analysts, LOBO has been a globally leading manufacturer, rental company and show producer in the laser show and multimedia sector for more than 30 years. Additionally, LOBO is a leading manufacturer of various types of Water Screen for freely levitating projections of laser and video images.
At the award ceremony in Las Vegas, a new record was broken according to the company. With it, LOBO leaves all competitors far behind and has a practically uncatchable lead in the all-time ranking of the ILDA Awards. Back in 2007, LOBO already received its 100th ILDA Award for outstanding creative achievements on board of a cruise ship in Nassau. Until today, no other company even came close to this benchmark of 100 ILDA Awards.
Coveted Award
The ILDA Awards are considered to be the most important and coveted award in the laser and multimedia entertainment industry. Each year, a changing jury composed of experts and laymen selects the very best shows in various categories. LOBO has received almost five times as many awards as the closest European competitor and still 75 percent more awards than the second-placed company in the all-time ILDA Award rankings.
Henning's Big Contribution
According to the company, LOBO's success is closely connected with Alexander Hennig, who received LOBO's first ILDA Award for a Corprorate Show in 1994, while he was still an intern. In 1995, he became a permanent employee as Creative Director of the company and started building up the LOBO design group and the LOBO Studios.
