Following a two-year break caused by the pandemic, the international awards of the laser show industry were once again presented live in London
AALEN (an) - After the awards show of the International Laser Display Association – ILDA for short – had only been held via internet streaming in the past two years due to the pandemic, ILDA was now once again able to stage its grand “live comeback” in November in London in order to award the “Oscars of the laser industry” with a fitting award ceremony once again.
The top positions of the ILDA Artistic Awards were surrounded by fierce competition, but LOBO from Aalen was able to win over the jury once more: With a total of six awards, LOBO managed to receive more creative awards than any other laser show company in 2022 and continues to top the ILDA world rankings with a total of 184 ILDA Awards.
The highlight of this year's ILDA Awards is the first place in the category "Laser Photography": The electrifying "Tesla Coil". The photography "Black Hole Eclipse" also garnered applause and received second place.
In the category "Laser Show with Added Effects/Multimedia", the show "EuroSights – Extended Beam" as a reworked extension of the beam show part of the original multimedia show placed second. A total of two awards for “Beams/Atmospherics Show with Add-On Effects”: “Shining” on rank two, followed closely by a third place for “Crazy Chicken” to a remix of “Bella Ciao”.
Enthusiasts of fantasy epics should be no stranger to the third-placed entry in "Beams/Atmospherics Show for Multiple-Scanner Projectors": To the iconic tunes of the "Game of Thrones" title theme, a veritable orchestra of laser projectors excellently reflects the dramatic flair and intrigue of its source in "Royal Play".
