Recently, Lobo organized a free one-day seminar on the topic of laser for project managers, light designers and creatives.
Managing director Lothar Bopp had the following to say: “We have often noticed that planning offices, light designers and agencies tend to have considerable reservations when it comes to the handling of lasers. On the one hand, the technology appears to be rather exotic and too complex at first glance, on the other hand, only few people are actually aware of the creative possibilities of lasers. At the latest since we have observed an alarmingly careless handling of lasers, some of which are quite powerful, with the increasing spread of cheap lasers from the Far East, it was time for us to act.”
The seminar offered practical assistance and tips on the professional application of laser. In addition to the basic functioning of laser systems, laser safety and various solutions for the use of lasers were explained with practical examples. Furthermore, there was ample time for discussions and a couple of shows in the Lobo Studios.
