LOBO electronic GmbH from Aalen has entered a lucrative market. Laser systems of the global market leader in the sector laser show technology are installed on cruise ships and now also on private yachts. With its new cruise ships “Magica” and “Fortuna”, Europe’s leading cruise line Costa has entered new dimensions. According to their own statements, these are considered to be the largest and most modern ships in the Mediterranean Sea. Perfection into every detail also applies in the entertainment sector: The hull of the ships houses a theater for more than 1,000 guests. Here, an in-house ensemble stages splendid revues each night, supported by a gigantic stage machinery. As a design element in stage shows and also as part of special presentations, the generously dimensioned laser system from LOBO has become the secret star among the passengers. Other cruise lines also rely on LOBO. For example three vessels of the shipping company “Celebrity Cruises” / “Carnival Cruises” feature a network of laser projectors. Even the true queen of the oceans, “Queen Mary 2” uses a LOBO laser system. “But large cruise ships aren’t everything,” managing director Lothar Bopp is happy. “In January, we received an order for a laser system for the largest private yacht ever built.”
