Accompanied by great public interest, LOBO staged the finale of the ceremonies for the 40th jubilee of Sultan Qaboos of Oman and showed a 28-day-long multimedia show around the lake in Qurum Park on the occasion of the Muscat Festival.
Within only six weeks, LOBO realized the entire show concept, including show design, technical planning and the entire individual show production, including numerous computer animations of existing and future landmarks of the country.
On site, LOBO installed 7 ultra-bright laser systems, 24 fog generators with wind machines, a large set of special outdoor laser mirrors and 4 video systems. Elements Entertainment supplied 3 Water Screens, one of the largest mobile fountain systems with 66 individually controllable and up to 35 meter high water jets as well as 20 fire effects, while about 90 high-performance lamps of the type Falcon were supplied by A&O. Mirnovec Pirotehnika was responsible for the fireworks effects and a local supplier installed 40 line arrays around the lake.
LOBO's Creative Art Director and the show production team were able to stage a 30-minute long spectacular appealing to all senses and causing a stir all over Oman. About 2 million festival visitors in a country with just over 3 million inhabitants are certainly an extraordinary success.
