"LOBO: Half of All First-Place Prizes "
The annual conference of the International Laser Display Association, the umbrella organization of all laser professionals worldwide, was held in China near Hong Kong in 2007. As the highlight of each conference, ILDA honors the best laser shows of the year with the "ILDA Awards", which professionals consider the "Oscars" of the laser show industry. As in previous years, market leader LOBO received the majority of awards for outstanding achievements. In 10 categories, LOBO received 9 awards with 5 first places, two second places, one third place and one Honorable Mention. With a total of 97 "Laser Oscars", no other company in ILDA's history has received more awards than LOBO.
LOBO received further ILDA Awards for a futuristic multimedia performance with a 300m² large Water Screen and the artists "Lametta" in front of 5000 spectators in the ICC Berlin. The inauguration of the new luxury liner "Mercury" in the docks of New Year also received an award. Additional trophies were won by the laser-based live performance of the performance artists Stefanie Langen and for a multimedia fair presentation in Rimini.
