Aalen/Essingen. Within the upcoming seven months, the new administrative buildings of the company LOBO electronic GmbH, Aalen, will be constructed on a property located directly at the federal highway B29 in the industrial park Dauerwang II between Aalen and Essingen. In late August, the ground-breaking ceremony took place on the semicircular site on Robert-Bosch-Straße, also referred to as “ear property”.
Originally, Ulm wanted to entice LOBO electronic to the city on the Danube with “better conditions”. In the end, however, a decision was made in favor of the acceptable solution offered by Aalen's mayor Ulrich Pfeifle at the current location, explained Dipl.-lng. (FH) Lothar Bopp as the client of the project. The architect Andreas Engelhardt, who had planned the project, also explained the concept of the building, set to be constructed in a futuristic style by the construction company Hebel (Heidenheim) as general contractor. Congratulations were offered by Ostalb District Administrator Klaus Pavel, Aalen's Building Mayor Manfred Steinbach and Helgo Jänisch as Managing Director of the inter-municipal special-purpose association Dauerwang II The “global” company was synonymous with shaping the future, “high tech” and “new and secure jobs”, representatives of the local administrations commended as they expressed their elation about the company staying in the region. Horst Trittler, authorized officer of the company Hebel, described it as a “challenge for the planning and construction team.”
This year, “LOBO electronic” has already realized several laser show highlights – for example during the opening ceremony of the largest municipal culture and leisure center on the outskirts of Valencia. The “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” features an opera and theater with seats for 5,000 spectators, a science and technology museum, and an oceanographic museum. The centerpiece of the park is the Hemispheric, a 90 m long and 50 m high building, housing Europe’s largest planetarium. In cooperation with the Spanish companies Multimedia Place and Caballer, LOBO presented a bombastic multimedia spectacle in front of 1,000 guests, the people of Valencia and the audience of several TV studios. In addition to aerial fireworks, a 70 kW sound system, three big screen projectors and two video projectors, 600 kW light were available for illumination. The Spaniards were introduced to LOBO at “SIB” in Rimini.
