Anniversary of State Innovation Award with LOBO
The Department of Trade and Commerce relies on the former award winner LOBO to stage a laser show for the 25th anniversary of the Innovation Award.
This year, the Innovation Award of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg celebrated its 25th anniversary. The award is not only among the most prestigious awards of this kind in Germany, unlike any other it also stands for the inventive ingeniosity of the country which is world-famous for its innovators and thinkers, such as Benz, Bosch or Einstein.
The show specialist LOBO also received one of these coveted awards already in 1992, as the first company in its industry. So it is not surprising that the Department of Trade and Industry chose this award-winning company, renowned all over the world, for the production and staging of the anniversary in the "King-Karl-Hall" in the Houses of Economy in Stuttgart.
In addition to a spectacular, individual opening and a fantastic laser finale, each award winner was also presented with laser projections during the award's ceremony.
In order to meet the innovative appeal, LOBO also relied on technically innovative solutions, using their brand-new generation of ultra-bright laser projectors called “sparks”. These compact, air-cooled systems were just put on the market earlier this year and are presently considered to be the brightest multicolor lasers today.
LOBO’s technical director Mr. Sebastian Thiemeier about using "sparks": “Of course, sparks were actually developed for much larger events. In Stuttgart, the air was literally glowing during the show. The lasers were so bright that we only projected a few selected effects directly into the audience, 95% of the show happened above the heads of the audience. Thanks to the brightness, the show really looked phenomenal.”
The extraordinarily decent and valuable design of the visibly installed projectors fitted perfectly into the modern ambience of the hall.
Also because of their simple handling and the very short setup time, the new systems were predestined for this task: In less than one hour, the laser system consisting of 3 “sparks” projectors, was ready to go.
