ILDA Awards 1998 - Awards for LOBO from Amsterdam
The International Laser Display Association (ILDA), representing 147 laser companies of 27 nations, awarded the best among the leading international laser companies for the first time in Europe - once again LOBO obtained a large amount of the renowned "laser Oscars".
It is raining awards for LOBO. Just receiving the TiLE-Award for their new laser- and multimedia workstation LACON-5 as "product of the year", also the International Laser Display Organisation awarded this innovative machine on the occasion of this year's annual meeting in Amsterdam as an outraging "technical achievement". And this has not been all. LOBO's Art-Director Alexander Hennig could accept on behalf of LOBO five further awards in the glamorous award's ceremony.
One of the most impressing winners was LOBO's inauguration of Valencia's new culture- and science-city, which has been awarded as best outdoor laser show of the year. Furthermore, the jury honored LOBO for a multimedia performance on a 300 m2 Water Screen in Berlin's congress center ICC, for the inauguration of Celebrity Cruises' new flagship "Mercury" in New York and for the laser-based live performance of the south-German artist Stefanie Langen. Certainly also LOBO's spectacular fair presentation "LOBOMANIA" at this year's SIB in Rimini obtained an ILDA award.
So, LOBO not only received this year more ILDA awards than any other company but also shows an unique consistency in the high quality of their products and artwork, as they obtained in the few years of their ILDA-membership 25 awards in only 4 years!
