ILDA Awards 1998 - Awards for LOBO from Amsterdam

It is raining awards for LOBO. Only shortly after receiving the TiLE-Award for their new laser- and multimedia workstation LACON-5 as "product of the year", the International Laser Display Organisation also awarded this innovative machine on the occasion of this year's annual meeting in Amsterdam as an outstanding "technical achievement". And this wasn't all. On behalf of LOBO, Art Director Alexander Hennig could accept five further awards in the glamorous award's ceremony.

One of the most impressive winners was LOBO's inauguration of Valencia's new culture- and science-city, which has been awarded as best outdoor laser show of the year. Furthermore, the jury honored LOBO for a multimedia performance on a 300 m² Water Screen in Berlin's congress center ICC, for the inauguration of Celebrity Cruises' new flagship "Mercury" in New York and for the laser-based live performance of the south-German artist Stefanie Langen. Certainly also LOBO's spectacular fair presentation "LOBOMANIA" at this year's SIB in Rimini obtained an ILDA award.

So, LOBO not only received more ILDA awards than any other company this year, but also demonstrated an unique consistency in the high quality of their products and artwork, as they obtained in the few years of their ILDA membership 25 awards in only 4 years!
