Lobo’s projection announces the turn of the year
AALEN (pm) - Shortly before the turn of the year, a gigantic laser projection appeared on the facade of the 175 m high Anayasa Tower in Ashgabat. Slowly, the number 2011 fades away, before the laser starts counting down the final seconds of the year. When the year 2012 appears, the masses gathered in the square start celebrating.
With this event for the turn of the year, the laser and multimedia specialist Lobo from Aalen launched arguably the world’s largest permanent installation in the display laser sector with the „Ashgabat Towers Project“ in Turkmenistan’s capital, as the company has now announced. The laser installation connects the largest towers of Turkmenistan’s capital with bright laser beams in the national color green. Display lasers are also part of this project. With them, building projections, seen for the first time during New Year’s Eve, are realized. According to Lobo, the project was the idea of the president of Turkmenistan. Numerous companies from the display laser industry had submitted their ideas, concepts and offers. In the end, the laser specialists from Aalen had won the race.
