"International Awards from America for LOBO"
In November 1996, the “International Laser Display Association” (ILDA) presented 37 of its coveted awards. LOBO from Aalen alone won eight awards – more than any other laureate. Three more ILDA Awards went to Laser Entertainment, exclusive dealer for LOBO laser systems in Italy and producer of many shows for LOBO. In the category Animation Shows, both the sensitive integration of the medium laser during a performance at the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg as well as the innovative use of state-of-the-art technologies such as Motion Capturing for the realistic animation of three-dimensional laser figures were honored with awards. In the category Multimedia, the three-dimensional underwater show “The Secret of Bermuda” won 2nd place, with laser and slides creating effects of a fascinating spatial depth.
