Digital controller: LACON-5 by LOBO.

Demand for LOBO’s new LACON-5 exceeds all expectations – resulting in long delivery times. This work station does not only control laser, but can also handle light, sound, video projectors or fog machines at the same time.
LOBO’s managing director Lothar Bopp is happy: “We would never even have dreamed of this. As astounding as it might sound: Every single one of the clients, to which we have presented the system, ended up ordering a device!” The device in question is the new LACON-5 work station, which already became a bestseller before any reports or advertisements. While LOBO usually has delivery times of two to three weeks, clients now have to wait almost three months for a new device.
Head developer Werner Most and his team have developed a system far surpassing any regular controller. For example, the classic concept of optical banks, which was widely used but based on mechanical components that were prone to failure, fell victim to the pursuit of technical perfection. Instead, LOBO new system consists of digital and maintenance-free components, from the controller to the projector, which communicate with each other via an optical data bus.
