Lobo presents new compact laser projectors.
Lobo, a South-German manufacturer of show laser systems, presented two new compact projectors, developed for discotheques and larger stage applications. The new devices offer features such as digital scanning, an innovative color modulation as well as Lobo’s PCS system.
PCS increases the effective brightness of a laser system by a factor of nine in comparison to projectors with the same output power and the same laser light sources. This was achieved with an optical system to increase the output density with a thinner beam.
The new product line is available in two versions: The entry-level device Bliss XT is based exclusively on diode lasers with real beam overlay and without the use of diode arrays. The projector is suitable for small to mid-sized clubs as well as for use on smaller stages.
The model Bliss-XS is based on Coherent Taipan lasers and suitable for larger stage applications and television shows. Upon request, this version is also available with automated beam alignment on basis of Piezo actuators. This way, the system is immediately ready for use even after transportation. In contrast to conventional solutions, format and size correspond to regular video projectors. Camlock connections facilitate mounting on traverses of any direction. The thermal design reduces fan noises and makes the system suitable even for sensitive stage applications.
Both systems are available in different performance classes. They are supplied either with Lobo’s DDL-2 connection with optical signal transmission, integrated safety logic and remote access to all settings via a controller, or alternatively with ILDA standard connection.
