"Topping the Charts with Help from Aalen"
Lobo electronic GmbH reslizes premium demands of the music project “Lichtmond”

Alan Parsons called them the „modern day Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk“. Now, LOBO electronic GmbH from Aalen and the audiovisual poets of the project “Lichtmond” are cooperating to create unique live experiences together. LOBO, the globally leading manufacturer, rental company and producer in the laser show and multimedia industry, has developed a multimedia kit for live events on rental basis or for permanent installations. This project takes a large audience away to magical dream worlds. With this, LOBO realizes the premium demands of the Munich-based music project “Lichtmond”.
Their career is filled with gold and platinum, with no other release having such as fulminant start in summer 2014 as “Lichtmond 3” – rank one in the Amazon 3D Blu-ray Charts in front of all Hollywood blockbusters and from zero to one in the German Top 20 Music DVD Charts.
The Lichtmond team, centered around the brothers Martin and Giorgio Koppehele, creates incomparable dream worlds made of magical sounds and imposing computer animations. At the same time, “Lichtmond” is committed to uncompromising production quality. Perfected surround sound meets high-resolution 3D content as well as poetic collages, in which industry giants such as Alan Parsons or Midge Ure and Sky du Mont were involved.
During the preparation of “Lichtmond 3 – Days of Eternity”, LOBO and “Lichtmond” have entered a production cooperation. For example, the specialists from Aalen offer multimedia shows, discovery worlds and “Lichtmond” live performances. LOBO’s Creative Director said: “When we met Giorgio and Martin, the chemistry was immediately there. We have the same high expectations from our work. The results speak for themselves.”
Together with the Spanish 3D artists Diego Bonati, completely new content was created, enabling the presentation of various video layers by using water-based projection surfaces. This way, 3D experiences without glasses are created, the Creative Director explains. On basis of this show kit, almost anything from an impressive ten-minute-long multimedia spectacle up to a feature-length stage performance with artists and musicians can be realized. Additionally, LOBO supplies ready to use “Lichtmond” show programs to its clients and as attraction for amusement parks.
In the LOBO Studios in Aalen, potential clients can dive into the multimedia discovery world of “Lichtmond” with all senses during a demo show. In addition to a large arsenal of laser and effect technology, LOBO also offers 3D sound on basis of wave-field synthesis.
