In the Bavarian town Rennertshofen, the future is now: Since July, the discotheque “COSMIC DANCING” is in operation and boasts state-of-the-art disco technology. South Sea flair paired with high tech, a gigantic laser show in a cozy atmosphere, no supermarket ambience despite enormous technical efforts – this probably best describes the first impressions when entering the interior of the discotheque for the first time.
Owner M. Rehm describes his philosophy as follows: “I want to offer my guests something new and special. New developments in the entertainment and discotheque sector do not stand still and traditional equipment has served its time.”
He is definitely right with one thing: No corners were cut to make this discotheque a true experience for the guests.
The light and sound technology is exquisite and the undisputed heart of this technology is a laser show system, making everyone, who beholds the spectacle for the first time, hold their breath with its elaborate installation.
It was important that each guest could choose for themselves whether they want to fully immerse themselves in „Cosmic Dancing“ on the dancefloor or get cozy without any disruptions or being blinded.
Both options are possible, as the discotheque was built in a way that prevents light and sound from disturbing the guests in the seating and bar area.
Owner M. Rehm: “As far as I know, there are less than 10 discotheques with laser shows in all of Bavaria. Our laser shows impress me to this day, even though I have seen them many times. They also do not drive guests “crazy”, as a laser show is something to lean back and marvel at.”
The system in use is a LOBO laser control system LACON2, probably one of the most diverse laser controllers currently available on the market, with which more than 4 billion points can be freely placed within a room.
The important thing here is that you can very quickly turn such a laser system into a creative tool yourself, which owner Rehm also makes good use of: “I program fantastic laser shows myself – this is not only a lot of fun, but also lets me offer new spectacles to my guests.”
It should also be noted that there is a lively exchange of self-produced shows between discotheques within Germany owning the same system. But the service LOBO electronic is offering to its clients is probably unique:
Hyper shows produced by laser designers in the LOBO laser studio, accompanied by specifically composed laser music by Michel Colbin for each individual laser light event. This combination is pure enjoyment of art, a highly impressive multimedia show that has to be seen. Here, the opportunity to combine different artistic perspectives is seized.
An important aspect shouldn’t go unmentioned here: As part of still all too rare anti-alcohol measures in youth establishments, Rehm is offering non-alcoholic beverages for DM 3.--. A quite sensible and important offer in my opinion – my respects!
