Abstract Video Projections onto Spray Water Screen

From the summer season 2024 onwards, the tourism association of Sankt Kanzian at Lake Klopein had the idea for something special: Nightly video presentations on a gigantic projection surface from LOBO’s range of Water Screens. The show content, created by national and international artists, is played on the 42 meters wide Water Screen via video projections. One of the artists involved in the project was Ramiro, whose abstract visions were presented on the lake during a ten-minute-long show. The Water Screen is suited ideally for his colorful fantasies, which appear almost three-dimensional on the unusual projection surface. The various motifs flow almost seamlessly into each other, offering an impressive spectacle for the viewers.

LOBO’s Spray Water Screens are suited ideally for photorealistic images as well as laser-like outline projections. In the largest version of the Water Screen, three pumps and a central nozzle generate a projection surface with a width of up to 42 meters, perfect for the realization of ambitious projects of national and international artists. Alternating with more abstract presentations, this show runs all summer long on Lake Klopein in Austria, quickly becoming a favorite among the younger audience members to no surprise. On the occasion of the international trade fair for medicine, the MEDICA in Düsseldorf, the customer ADK Modulraum wanted a video projection of texts, slogans and animations, which should appear like a hologram floating above the exhibition stand for the visitors. infinity beam - Präsentation

This video shows four infinity beam systems with output powers up to 88 W with up to four Coherent New Vipers per system. The infinity beam offers interchangeable display heads - such as the "Long-Range Beam Display Head", which can produce extremely bright beams in the sky with an extraordinarily long range. In this configuration, the systems can be completely controlled via DMX. Alternatively, for projections, multiple beams, and spatial beam effects there are "Projection Display Heads" (there is a version with increased range available here too). The infinity beam systems shown are installed at a distance of up to 10 km from each other, the time synchronisation of the systems with each other and the music is done via GPS.

Feasibility study of two projects based on infinity beam technology in the Middle East. A visualization of the technical concept in the form of a computer-generated video. Since the infinity beam is not only weatherproof and developed as an ultra-bright laser for extreme distances, but can also be individually configured, different projects can be achieved with this laser. For example, it can be used in a static single beam version as a "directional pointer" to Mecca for a large number of mosques, as countless infinity beams can be synchronised over any distance; alternatively, as shown in the example of the Burj Khalifa, as a moving single beam version - or, as also shown, with a projection display head for countless moving beams. Either way, the infinity beam can turn a building into an eye-catcher visible from afar.

At a height of 246 m, on the Thyssen test tower in Rottweil, the night sky is slowly scanned horizontally by an ultra-bright infinity beam. Almost majestically, following a grandiose opening show, the ray of the infinity beam penetrates the sky for hours with a brightness of 44683 W/m² and is visible for dozens of kilometres.

Test Run spray Water Screen

Typical test situation for a spray Water Screen of the TL-SPF series, in daylight in a reservoir – prior to delivery to the customer. This video shows a spray Water Screen model TL-40SPF, which has a central pump-nozzle combination in a stainless steel design. It produces an almost semi-circular wall of water mist with a maximum diameter of 30-40 metres. The pumps are designed as multi-stage submersible pumps with cooling jacket, check valve, and mesh filter. The central high-performance nozzle has a high gain factor and is replaceable. The control cabinet shown is designed in protection class IP-55 and has an automatic star-delta soft-start control, motor protection, and residual-current circuit breaker. To increase operational safety, it is also designed with triple redundancy.
